The public launch on the Weeki Wachee, and the closest place to put a kayak in that isn't our own dock. Swimming beach, boat ramp, restrooms. Parking is paid and card only.

Weeki Wachee Springs State Park

The spring the river comes out of, the mermaid show that has been running since 1947, and Buccaneer Bay in season. The reason most people have heard of this river at all.

Manatee viewing and quiet backwater paddling north of the river. Worth a half day if the Weeki Wachee is busy.
