“The absolute best Airbnb I’ve ever been to! I loved the amount of kayaks, life jackets, rafts, etc. We never left the cabin, it had everything we needed and more. I loved being the first one out on the water in the morning, enjoying all of the beautiful nature. We had deers in the yard, 10+ manatees in the backyard. I’ve very picky about my beds and these were better than my own at home! We truly did not want to leave, we can’t wait to book another trip.”

“This place was absolutely the talk of the Weeki Wachee River. Everyone that paddled by the house talked about it or asked about it. It’s in the clearest and most beautiful part of the river. We saw tons of fish, manatee, armadillos and deer. Would definitely rent this place again.”

“So perfect my kids cried when it was time to checkout because they didn’t want to leave! Extremely well located along the *most scenic portion of the spring* (a few manatee sightings from the deck!), perfectly equipped (from ample kayaks, oars & life vests), to all the kitchen necessities, and an outdoor grill. It’s exactly as described. The back patio is so peaceful. Lots of areas to hang outside (outdoor dining table with grill, a cushioned lounge set under the patio, and chairs facing the river), with a mosquito repellent mister so we could fully enjoy without pesky skeeters. The kids were able to jump into the water right behind the house and stayed entertained throughout our stay, enjoying swimming in the spring. An added bonus were the neighborhood deer, wild turkey, and turtle sightings. It was a great spot that made for a very memorable family vacation.”

“Native Floridan but had never been to Weeki Wachee River. I’ve never seen or been so close to manatees. Had our grown children & their families. TBH not the best sleeping arrangement for toddlers but we made it work (husband booked the home:) Neighbors were so friendly, gave great advice. We were close to grocery store. Had deer in front yard & across the river from us. Best time to kayak early am or after 4:00pm.”

“This place was a tropical paradise! Our family of seven had plenty of room and all slept great, which is huge to this mom being we are on vacation and good rest is a must! We spent most of our time outdoors in the river and enjoying the wildlife. We love kayaking so we spent hours every day out on the river going up and and down both ways. There are many of hidden treasures along the river, even a mobile hot dog stand/boat! Which was great for my very hungry kids who had been on the river all day. We say dolphins on our trip that day and it was magical. Coming back to that comfy little cabin after paddling for many hours felt so nice and had an “at home” vibe. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you to the owners for such a lovely place on the weeki wachee that they choose to share with others.”

“This place is incredible! We did not want to leave! The house was spotless, not to mention absolutely beautiful. This is our 4th stay in Weeki Wachee and this has been our favorite place to stay so far! Had an abundance of linens and other amenities like TP, soaps, detergents. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The downstairs patio area was our favorite spot! We spent most of our time there and spotted so much wildlife, it was incredible! The patio furniture is so comfortable and the mosquito mister was very helpful. (Florida has lots of bugs!) There are 6 adult kayaks and 3 smaller ones, all new and in excellent condition. It’s a perfect spot on the river with easy access to get in. Not only were we able to enjoy kayaking in the clear river but we also just hung out and swam right in front of the dock. Also lots of swimming gear included which we really enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again and again. Can’t wait to get the chance to come back!”

“The River Run Retreat house was absolutely perfect for our group of 8 book nerds for our book club retreat. So much so that I booked another stay for later this year before I checked out. The wildlife, surroundings, everything was so peaceful and magical. Looking forward to staying again in a few months!”

“Beautiful and exceptionally clean property on an amazing part of the river. Communication with property manager was good until I asked about the possibility of early check-in; then communication was poor (including me having to request the address and check instructions on the day of check-in).”
